My team and I developed Neuropoly, which won 2nd best hack at UB Hackathon 2025 (Monopoly Themed). Neuropoly is a Brain-Computer Interface that analyzes live EEG data and plays Monopoly using your brain signals! The player is exposed to a selection of stimuli, each flashing at different frequencies. Using four electrodes placed over the player's Occipital Lobe, Neuropoly performs signal processing and data science techniques over data collected from the EEG to determine the dominant frequency at which the player's Occipital lobe is processing. Based on the frequency of the stimuli the player was looking at, Neuropoly performs an action on an online Monopoly board.
